As International Transport Coordinator you will play a key role in our global operational transportation team acting as a contact source for transport

planning, communication and information flow between customer and other involved parties (Customer Service, Freight Settlement, Implementation Team,

Logistics Control Center Management).

Detailed field of responsibilities:
Act as a main contact for all transportation operations in scope
Respond to customer requests
Align with carriers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks
for pick-up, estimates times of arrival and delivery
Select transport mode, carriers, considering quality and costs
Arrange return shipment and charters
Arrange special trucks if required
Handle manual order entry
Send standard reports, such as document monitoring & forecast,
pick-up notifications and load plans
Handle rate requests
Support implementation of new processes
In time reporting of escalations to the management

Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the logistics or customer service sector
First experience in Road, Sea or Air Transport is a big asset
Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in English and at least one additional language (preferrably Portuguese, French or German)
Ability to fulfill time-critical tasks on time, keep schedules and deadlines
Very strong customer focus and team player
